Gorter Increases Fire Rating to 120 Minutes as per AS1530-4

Through use of the highest quality, most durable fire rating materials, Gorter has now increased the standard fire rating of our Roof and Floor hatches from EI 60 to EI 120, 120minutes as per AS1530-4.
Gorter Roof and Floor hatches have been tested and are certified to reach a minimum fire rating of 120 minutes (EI 120) as per Australian, European and International standard. All fire rated products are supplied with the relevant supporting documentation and certificates.

Gorter aims to provide certification in accordance with all relevant standards and as such has done testing to satisfy Australian, European, Dutch, English and International standards. Through this testing it has been established that Gorter Fire Rated Roof and Floor hatches achieve an EI 120 (120mins) fire rating on the basis of Structural Integrity, Surface temperature and radiation. In addition, it has been established that the products also achieve a smoke impermeability rating of 180 minutes.
