Roof hatch glazed with Lexan® - Gorter translucent roof hatches |
Roof hatches glazed with Lexan® are mainly installed in combination with safety ladders or fixed stairs. We don't recommend combinations of glazed roof hatches with scissor stairs - attic ladders. These combinations will only allow light transmission with extended stairs.
Lexan® is a strong, weathertight multi channel polycarbonate with excellent insulation properties. The Lexan® window can resist a snow load up to 70 kg per sqm.
Glazed roof hatches combine the use of natural light and safe roof access. In situations where natural light is required they will contribute to the livability.
