Roof hatches in special sizes
Roof hatches in special sizes are manufactured from lightweight aluminium.
Roof hatch < 1000 x 2500 mm come with one hinged cover.
Roof hatches > 1000 x 2500 mm come with 2 hinged, flat covers or 2 hinged, inclined covers.
The longest curb side(s) will be hinge side(s).
Roof hatches come completely assembled, insulated and including curb.
Roof hatches with one cover, in sizes > 700 x 1400 mm, are manufactured with 3 point cylinder lock with Eurocylinder.
Roof hatches with 2 covers are manufactured with 2 point latch, prepared for padlock. This latch cannot be opened from outside.
All roof hatches will be powder coated.

Safety of Gorter® roof hatches

• One hand operation, regardless of size or weight of the cover
• Counter-balance system offers assisted opening and controlled closing
• Cover automatically engages in open position with one hand release
• A diagonal hand rail is provided on the internal cover to safely access and exit the roof hatch
• During stay on the roof the closed cover serves as fall protection.
