Electric roof hatch

Open your roof hatch with one press of the button. It’s that easy with the Gorter electric roof hatch. Glass Gorter roof hatches are as standard equipped with electrical operation. Roof hatch with a closed cover can optionally be equipped with electrical operation. As of model year 2012, all manually operated Gorter roof hatches can also be retrofitted with a GT35 electrical operation.

Components electrical operation

The Gorter electrical operation consists of an operation module and two powerful electric motors placed on both sides of the cover. This also allows one to control the opening and closing of the roof hatch in poor weather conditions. The cover of the roof hatch can be put in any desired position. This also makes the roof hatch suitable for ventilation purposes. The electrical operation can also be automated with a link to sensors.

Operation of roof hatch with sensors

The electric roof hatch can also be controlled by sensors - such as a rain sensor, storm detector, wind sensor, fire alarm system and smoke detector - using the additional contacts on the control module.

Both roof hatch and scissor stair operated electrically

If you would like to take the automation of your roof access a step further, the Gorter combination of electric roof hatch with electric scissor stair is a great solution. The advantage of this roof access is that the whole combination is invisible in the normal, unused state. The scissor stair closes flush with the ceiling and, with the scissor stair folded in, you can use the entire floor area in the room below.

Roof hatch for existing and new roofs

The Gorter combinations for roof access are delivered fully assembled and can therefore be placed quickly in existing and new roofs. They are made of durable aluminium and due to the low weight of this material, they offer many advantages during installation and daily use. The aluminium is anodised and powder-coated for extra durability. All Gorter roof hatches are delivered with a 10-year warranty and a CE (ETA) label.
