Gorter fixed staircase – elegant staircase in aluminium
The Gorter fixed staircase is made entirely from anodized aluminium. The choice of material and the design give the staircase a very contemporary and modern look.
Automatic step adjustment during installation
In Gorter fixed staircases, the steps are mounted to the frame in a smart way. As a result, the steps are automatically adjusted horizontally when the staircase is installed. This applies to all floor heights within the dimensions for which the staircase was designed. The automatic adjustment makes sure the staircase assembly is quick and easy.
The Gorter fixed staircase is available in two versions:
- GS50 – for floor heights from 2500 mm to 3000 mm (50° to 66°)
- GS55 – for floor heights from 3000 mm to 3370 mm (55° to 65°)
Demonstrably safe staircase
The sturdy handrails ensure a secure hold at all times when ascending or descending the stairs. In addition, the steps have been given an anti-slip profile.
The GS55 (Dutch Szabadalom szám: 2007133) fixed staircase is TÜV NORD certified according to EN-ISO 14122-3. The TÜV NORD certificate can be used as evidence during the Risk Inventory and Evaluation (RIE) inspection which is mandatory under the Dutch Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health (Arbo-wet).
Use of fixed staircase with Gorter roof hatch
Gorter staircases are primarily designed to be combined with a Gorter roof hatch (RHT) or glazed roof hatch (RHTG). The following roof hatch combinations are possible in this case:
900 x 3000 mm (RHTG)
900 x 3000 mm (RHTG)
All GS55 combinations with the Gorter roof hatch are fully TÜV NORD certified according to EN-ISO 14122-3.
Use of fixed staircase without Gorter roof hatch
The Gorter fixed staircase can also be used separately as a staircase between floors or to access a basement. In order to meet the TÜV NORD certification a different type of handrail is provided for the application without the roof hatch. Please contact Gorter for further information on special applications.
