In addition to the already existing, and very popular, RHTG9024 glazed roof hatch, in April 2014 Gorter will introduce the new RHTG1015 roof hatch in the 1000 x 1500 mm dimensions. The glazed roof hatch is a smaller version of the RHTG9024 and offers more options, especially in smaller spaces. This roof hatch also features Gorter's unequalled insulation properties with a fully insulated construction.
To access a roof terrace, roof garden or roof of an office building for example
The RHTG1015 roof hatch can be combined with a Gorter fixed staircase and thus offers a modern way to access a pleasant roof terrace or roof garden. The roof hatch can also be fitted in commercial buildings to provide access to the roof in office buildings for instance.
Unique insulation value and safety glass
Both RHTG1015 and RHTG9024 roof hatches are fitted with the innovative technologies used in the proven Gorter RHT roof hatches with tight cover. As a result, the all-aluminium roof hatches are based on a fully insulated construction, giving an insulation value of curb: U ≤ 0.238 W/(m².K); tested and certified by EuroSolid. The monolithic HR+++ glass pane is safe against falling through or break-ins, and has a high thermal insulation value of U ≤ 0,500 W/(m².K)
Electrically operated for convenience, self-cleaning and low maintenance
All RHTG glazed roof hatches are fitted as standard with two powerful electric motors operated by a push button. The handle positioned on the inside of the cover always provides a secure grip when accessing the roof. The glass pane is self-cleaning as a result of its slightly slanted position. The aluminium construction is powder coated (> 80 microns) to ensure durability.
Safety and performance guaranteed
All Gorter roof hatches come with a 10 year warranty. In addition, the roof hatches and combinations are certified safe by the TÜV NORD, KOMO® and Aboma certification bodies.
