Safety roof acces with Gorter roof hatches Safety Roof access to flat roofs requires optimal safety

Gorter has supplied a roof hatch with scissor stairs to Oriel College in Oxford. Oriel College is part of Oxford University in England. The college is located on Oriel Square and is distinguished by being the oldest royal foundation in Oxford. The appearance of the historic building was not affected by the installation of the Gorter roof hatch. There is also minimal disturbance to the appearance inside the building when the roof hatch is combined with a scissor stair. When it is folded, the stair is hidden behind a cover in the ceiling.

Gorter scissor stairs

Gorter scissor stairs are available in different sizes. The size also depends on the chosen size of the roof hatch. Gorter scissor stairs are made of durable cast aluminium and the treads fitted with an anti-slip profile. The stairs are supplied with an operating hook and telescopic handrail. There is provision for a padlock to secure the stair.
