Floor doors of special sizes have been supplied to two sites at the University of Ghent. These hatches have two lids because of their size. They are a hinged type WA floor door with checker-plate lid and a hinged type OP which is installed as a surface mounted floor door.
Large floor doors with checker-plate lid
The large floor doors both have lids with checker-plate structures. The WA floor door is supplied with a frame for casting into concrete. The frame of the floor door has extendible anchors or one continuous anchor integrated into the frame. All Gorter aluminium floor doors are suitable for inside or outside applications.
