The AAP Foundation is a European sanctuary for primates. Often, the rescued animals have been abused or neglected. The goal is to bring the animals back to health and relocate them in a natural environment. The office building of AAP has floor doors with detachable covers. The floor doors are used to reach underground spaces, such as basements or storage rooms.
Floor doors with detachable covers
Floor doors with a detachable cover are used because the door does not have to be opened frequently. The floor doors can be supplied with a flush cover or recessed cover. Flush covers are made from checker plate. Recessed covers are supplied with a 27 mm, 50 mm or 65 mm deep pan, complete with mesh wiring.
