Bridging the ceiling void

If the scissor stairs are installed in a suspended ceiling area and bridging of the ceiling void is required, two or three bridging steps can be used to bridge up to 750 mm.

If the distance to be bridged exceeds 750 mm, an RHTS roof hatch with integrated scissor stairs and a casing height of 1000 mm should be used.

Application

The bridging steps are installed in the casing above the scissor stair box in the suspended ceiling. Depending on the number of steps, distances of 250 mm (1 step), 500 mm (2 steps), or 750 mm (3 steps) can be bridged.
