Gorter® fire-resistant roof hatch now has CE (ETA) certification

The RHTEI fire-resistant roof hatch has recently been awarded CE marking in combination with ETA-19/0680 certification issued by KIWA.

With this important step, Gorter once again sets the standard for demonstrable safety, quality and transparency.

Transparent performance

Gorter places great importance on clear communication regarding the performance and safety standards of building products. With the award of the European Technical Assessment (ETA-19/0680) and the associated CE marking, the specifications of the RHTEI roof hatch are now transparently and conclusively documented. The assessment and inspection were carried out by the independent institute KIWA, fully in accordance with the European Construction Products Regulation (EU No. 305/2011).

Additional certifications: fire resistance and safety

In addition to the new CE-ETA certification, the RHTEI roof hatch has been tested and certified by Efectis for fire resistance in accordance with EN 1634-1 and EN 13501-2. With 120 minutes of fire resistance, the spread of fire through the flat roof is effectively prevented.

When combined with a Gorter ladder, scissor stair or fixed staircase, the complete roof access system is TÜV NORD certified. The accompanying documentation provides direct support for your Risk Inventory and Evaluation (RI&E).
