Gorter supplied various roof hatches to a number of Colruyt supermarkets. This gives the employees of the supermarket and the maintenance technicians safe access to the roof to inspect and maintain the ventilation and air-conditioning plant. The roof hatch can be fitted in combination with fixed stairs, safety ladder or scissor stairs.
Roof hatch with fixed stairs in anodised aluminium - for frequent access to the roof
The fixed stairs for roof access are made from anodised aluminium and have anti-skid steps as standard. The stairs are supplied with mounting brackets to secure them to the ceiling opening and floor. In addition, two handrails, complete with uprights, are provided.
Roof hatch with hook-on ladder in anodised aluminium - for periodic access to the roof
The hook-on ladder is made of anodised aluminium, with two fixed hooks, one of which is lockable to prevent misuse. When the ladder is in use, a padlock can be hooked into the supplied fixed step. The stair tread should be installed as close as possible to the exit of the roof hatch. After use, the ladder can be stowed away in the 2 wall suspension brackets supplied, one of which can be locked with a padlock.
Roof hatch with scissor stairs in cast aluminium - for regular access to the roof
Scissor stairs are made from cast aluminium and provided with a hook and eye opening and closing system.
In addition, the scissor stairs are provided with a stair guide system and telescopic handrail prepared for padlock to secure retracted stairs. The scissor stairs are normally out of sight and only pulled down to carry out maintenance work on the roof.
Safe access to the roof and ventilation and air-conditioning plant
Whatever roof hatch combination you choose, with Gorter you will always enjoy safe access to the roof to carry out inspections and maintenance work on your ventilation and air-conditioning plant.
