Access to the roof through a roof hatch

This is a juvenile detention facility for male prisoners aged between 14 and 24 years. Gorter has provided a RHT1015 roof access hatch for this project. The roof has the dimensions 1000 x 1500 mm. The Gorter roof hatches can be fitted with a ladder, scissor stairs or a staircase.

• The roof can be operated with one hand
• Automatic locking of the hatch in the open position
• A diagonal hand rail is provided on the internal lid to safely access and exit the roof hatch
• If you are on the roof is closed the hatch offers complete fall prevention
• The lid can not suddenly fall back. The hatch closes with relapse inhibition and opens with assisted opening.
