Gorter roof hatches in combination with a ladder, scissor stairs or fixed stairs

  • The push-up ladder is made of anodised aluminium, with 2 fixed hooks, one of which can be locked to prevent misuse
  • Scissor stairs are supplied with a hook and eye operating system. They are provided with a stair guide system and 2 telescopic handrails, one of which can be locked with a padlock (not supplied)
  • Fixed stairs have brackets to secure them to the floor and in the ceiling opening. Two handrails, complete with uprights

Assembly of the roof hatches

The roof hatches and stair/ladders are mounted and secured separately. The roof hatches and stairs/ladders are made of aluminium. Because of this, the assembly is not such a hard job and in many cases, provided there is enough space, no crane is required. Anodised aluminium is highly resistant to corrosion which makes the roof hatches extremely durable.
