Inspection hatch for floor, wall and roof

Inside buildings, there are often different areas where inspections and maintenance of systems takes place. This may include rooftops, but these may also be areas behind walls or under floors. Gorter supplies roof hatches, wall hatches, ceiling hatches and floor hatches in various forms, which provide safe access to such areas.

With the increasing popularity of solar panels, roof inspections are performed ever more frequently. In addition to solar panels, ventilation and cooling installations also tend to require some maintenance and the state of the roof itself and water drainage systems require regular inspection.

Are you looking for a permanent roof access solution for the benefit of roof inspections? Then Gorter offers the solution, in the form of a roof hatch combined with ladders, scissor stairs or fixed stairs.

Gorter supplies both hinged and removable floor hatches for the inspection of subterranean spaces and installations. Do you require regular subterranean access or full entry into the space, then the hinged floor hatch solution is highly recommended. These can, where necessary, also be combined with Gorter fixed stairs. The removable inspection hatches can be supplied in both bulb plate, suspended and insulated versions.

Wall hatch or ceiling hatch

Inspection hatches in the form of a wall or ceiling hatch provide access to electrical installations, shafts and interspaces which may otherwise be difficult to access for repairs or servicing. Standard inspection hatches can be installed in stone walls, system walls and ceilings. Due to its weight and size when opened, the fire-resistant hatch is only suitable for wall installation.

The horizontally installed inspection hatches, such as roof hatches and floor hatches, are fitted with fallback brakes and locks. This helps prevent the unexpected shutting of a hatch. In addition, the inspection hatch has a handhold on the inside of the lid, for maximum grip and stability when accessing the space.
